The JPJ Bundusan counters
for paying road tax and renew driving license is not open every weekends on
Saturday and Sunday.
This is following a notice
from the Director of JPJ KK Hj Mohd Suhaili Bin Mohd Taufek forwarded to the
Luyang Assemblyman Hiew King Cheu after his press release today (7.8.2013) in
the newspapers. The director clarified that the JPJ Bundusan counters was
specially opened on the 3rd and the 4th of August, and
not for every week ends. He would like to set the record right to avoid
confusion.
Anyhow, Hiew said he would
like to see that after the Hari Raya holiday, the JPJ Bundusan can open on
Saturday for a few more rounds for the public to do the necessary renewal of
their road taxes and driving licenses. This will help to ease the congestion in
the JPJ Bundusan counters due to the month long upgrading work to the computer
system in the post offices.
Hiew also asks JPJ to
consider opening up additional counters in the shopping malls for the
convenience of the public to renew their road taxes and driving licenses. This
will also effectively solve the people a lot of headaches.
