MUSA'S PEP TALK TO YOUTHS IN SANDAKAN

YOUTHS should make a commitment to advance and improve themselves in various fields, according to Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Musa Aman.

Speaking to more than 5,000 youths at a gathering at Libaran Sandakan, dubbed "An Afternoon with the Chief Minister",  he assured them that the government was attentive to their needs.

"We are with you! We will listen to your problems and resolve the issues that you raise," he said.

Musa also stressed that the government has allocated a substantial amount of funds to provide education and skills training to the youths to enable them to make something of their future.

He  told the youths to be motivated, determined, committed and sincere in any field of work that they choose.

"No matter what field of work you choose, work hard for it. If you work as a contractor fulfill your obligations and responsibility accordingly," he said.

Urging them to grab any opportunity that might come their way to improve their life and career, he reminded them that success does not come easy as it takes determination to face challenges.

He told the gathering that youths in this country are privileged because the government provides various types of assistance and facilities to them.

"With such assistance, you can venture into any field you like as long as you are willing to learn and work hard," he said. (Insight Sabah)
