BEKALAN AIR TENOM @ PROJEK TOP-UP?





WALAUPUN dijalankan oleh kontraktor ternama, Poteck Enterprise Sdn.Bhd yang dimiliki oleh Timbalan Presiden LDP, Senator Datuk Chin Su Phin, namun Projek Bekalan Air Luar Bandar (BALB) Sistem Retikulasi Negeri Sabah Tahun 2011/2012 Zon 16B, Tenom, Sabah bernilai RM10,422,536 yang dianugerahkan Kementerian Kemajuan Luar Bandar Dan Wilayah (KKLW) pada 15 Julai 2011 belum juga siap.

Mantan calon PKR, Adris Taripin menegur keghairahan Menteri KKLW, Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal melaksanakan projek 'Top-Up' dengan melantik kontraktor daripada kalangan kroni melalui tender terhad telah mengundang padah bagi kerajaan yang memegang prinsip 'Janji Ditepati'.

Katanya projek tersebut, KKLW.T.98/2011 yang tarikh milik tapaknya pada 19 Julai 2011 sepatutnya siap 18 Oktober 2012 yang lalu, namun sehingga ke hari ini harapan rakyat Tenom untuk menikmati bekalan air bersih semakin hampa.

"Alasan tidak cukup wang tidak munasabah kerana projek ini hanya bernilai RM3.75 juta tetapi diberikan harga top-up tiga kali ganda. Paip belum siap dan air setitik pun tiada. Sepatutnya kontraktor dikenakan denda Liquidated Assertain Damages sejak 19 Oktober lalu kerana belum ada tambahan masa diluluskan," kata Adris yang tidak hairan jika kontraktor berkenaan tidak didenda kerana ia lumrah bagi projek KKLW.

Datin Linda has asked the Minister to state the action to be taken in order to upgrade the infrastructure and basic amenities in Batu Sapi Parliamentary constituency since the area is semi-rural and lacked basic infrastructure and amenities such as a bridge by the sea-side, village roads, solar power electricity and water supply.
