HM KICKS STUDENT UNCONSCIOUS

LABUAN : An 11-year-old became unconscious after he was kicked in the ribs by his headmaster in a school, here.

Mohd Izzuddin Zainuddin later said he was supposed say that he collapsed after a fall during a game in school.

His mother Roslaila Jimlin, 35, said she and her husband rushed here from Kota Kinabalu after receiving a call from Izzuddin's friends about the incident Thursday evening.

"I found out that the headmaster had kicked my son after a teacher told him that Izzuddin and his friends had punctured her car tyre after getting the rumour from another student," she said.

She said it was later found that the teacher's vehicle was not damaged, nor was its tyre punctured as claimed. Izzuddin and his friends were only sitting near the teacher's car while resting after a marching rehearsal to prepare for the coming Maulidur Rasul. (DE)
