“INI KALI LAH” SLOGAN FOR ALL

STICKER.... Edward showing the big and small ‘Ini Kali Lah’ Stickers

“INI Kali Lah” is widely liked and used by the Sabahan, and meaning this is the time to topple the BN government and to replace them with the Pakatan Rakyat. This has even spread through out Malaysia now. Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim used this slogan extensively in all his ceramahs and campaign trips.

“The people have adopted this new slogan to replace the old saying of “Tukar Baju” which was used in 1985 to topple the Berjaya government. Very sadly, the “Baju” had been changed many times but the same people after changing their shirts still remained in senior government position and holding power”, said Edward Ewol Mujie, the Sabah DAP vice Chairman.

He said this slogan should not be claimed ownership by certain political party in Sabah as theirs. This party should respect the common feelings of the people in Sabah and in Malaysia, or else ready to be condemned. This is in fact the calls of the Sabahan for a new government, to change for betterment. This is “the time to change” (Ini Kali Lah!)

Edward further elaborated that it is righteous to “remove” the “Bad Managers” who had run Sabah from the riches state to the poorest state in Malaysia.

The bad managers had caused the poor Sabahans to suffer in aspects like brain-drain, migration, poverty, slake economy and development, bad infrastructures and many other suffering. In spite of our rich natural resources, we did not enjoy any prosperity and wealth derived from these, but the bad managers enjoyed much of it.

It is the decision of the Sabahan during the PRU13 election on whether they wish to continue to employ the “bad managers” or choose to change to employ some good, uncorrupted, clean and straight “new managers” to work for them in Sabah.

From our campaign walkabout in various part of Sabah, the current trend and decision of the people is that they wanted change and Ini Kali Lah!

Edward said that it is not only the Pakatan Rakyat leaders have to campaign and work hard for the change, but it is the duty of every single Sabahan has to go down to the field to push for the implementation and realizing the vision of a new government in Malaysia and Sabah. This can be simply done through even whisper campaign, open coffee shop talk, small group gathering, house party, internet, and especially the rural folks should travel from kampongs to kampong.

This is because the campaign by all can bring along a total collapse of the BN. It is concerning our future and everyone is responsible. With the determination by all, we shall see bright future in Sabah and Malaysia.

The people in Sabah have accepted “Ini Kali Lah”, especially many people had put up the small stickers bearing the PR logos and the slogan on their cars and hand phones.

The small stickers are printed and supplied by the KK MP Hiew King Cheu for free. More than twenty thousand small stickers had been distributed in Sabah and another thirty thousand are being printed for giving away. With the small stickers, we hope this can bring about and remind the people about change and a better future. (DAP Media)
