MUSA MEETS GUM GUM FOLKS IN SANDAKAN






MEET....Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Musa Aman at the "Leaders with the People" Program in Gum Gum, Sandakan.

CHIEF Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Musa Aman told the people at Gum Gum, Sandakan on his recent visit to Sandakan that the Government has a new revolution and spirit in the new year and there will be more programs and projects for 2013.

To begin with, he announced that the Gum Gum Community Hall was going to be renovated and upgraded, which he said was a measure of how happy he was with the people’s support for the Barisan Coalition.

Speaking to the  press  after the Leaders with the People Program, Musa said, “The Leaders with the People Program is very important, as through it we can be near to the people and can communicate our plans to the people of Sabah and at the same time strengthen the relationship between the people and Government’s leaders.”

The State Assemblyman for Gum Gum, Datuk Zakaria Edris said that the Barisan Nasional has given Sandakan a lot of growth and development, such as the provision of  roads, clean water  and  electricity supply.

“There is still more work to be done, but I believe Barisan will ensure that Sabah will continue to be developed and  become a better State” he added.

At the meet-the-people function some 30 Gum Gum students were given awards for the best UPSR and PMR achievements. (Insight Sabah)
