TO HOLD OR NOT TO HOLD?

By : LAWRENCE LEONG

THE RECENT revelations from the ongoing RCI investigation, point to a conclusion, beyond the shadow of a doubt that the government of Malaysia, was not formed through fair and legal election, hence illegitimate.

This being the case, if The Prime Minister is truly sincere to make amend and to gain the respect of Malaysians, particularly Malaysians of Sabah origins, the 13th general election should only be called after the conclusion of the RCI and most importantly, clean up the electoral rolls.

If this is not possible, for reasons best known to BN, then the next best solution is to put Sabah's election on hold until our electoral roll is purged from these 'illegals'.

To put this putrid matter to rest, and bury it for good once and for all, those holding office, past and present, must come forward to do the right thing, by telling the rakyaat the truth. Sensible humane practical solution must also be applied to these unfortunate souls, instead of being made use of by BN, in the name of religion purely for their votes.

This 'thorn in our flesh' must be gotten rid of so that Sabahans can once again reclaim what is our most important asset, our Nation State as per MA63, to chart our collective destiny. Whatever mistakes we make, we make it ourselves, not by a government voted in by mercenary voters.
