VISIT….Dato’ Liow visit Dr. Hiew at QEH 2, beside is Sabah DAP State Organizing Secretary, Jeffrey Kumin.
HEALTH Minister, Dato’ Dr Liow Tiong Lai makes a special visited to Sabah DAP State Chairman cum MP Kota Kinabalu Dr. Hiew King Cheu at QEH2 on Sunday after his MCA Sabah State Meeting.
He arrived with hospital staff and doctors. He wished Dr. Hiew a speedy recovery from the leg muscle operation. Dr. Hiew thanks him for his special visit and jokingly said that there will not have much complaint for the day and definitely there won’t be a by-election.
During the visit, Dato’ Liow briefly mentions about the development of the QEH2, including the construction of multi storey car park and he said the work has already started. The work on renovation of 7th and 8th floor of QEH2 shall be complete in Feb, 2011, he added.
Many questions has brought up by Dr. Hiew at the later stage, which include the luck of facility, personnel, specialist doctor in the hospital. Especially the Cardiology Department which is yet to be fully equip with modern equipment.
Department Head of Cardiology, Dr. Liew was together with Liow during the visit. Dato’ Liow promise that he will put special effort to the request by Dr. Hiew and he want to ensure Kota Kinabalu will have the full medical services.
