SABAH DAP was informed of a
mystery building which sits on a piece of land believed to be under the Welfare
Department. The complex with several buildings has been completed quite
sometimes ago, but these seem not being utilized at all and just left
abandoned.
Edward Ewol Mujie and his
assistant Stephen Yaman went for the inspection and found this complex at mile
7 Jalan Tuaran is empty without anybody there. The grass has overgrown and the
gate was locked.
This complex is built on the
land behind the old welfare department training centre for the disable (OKU),
and in front of the rehabilitations centre (Sekolah Tunas Bakti Kota Kinabalu)
under the welfare department.
The people said why spent so
much money to build a huge complex and just leave it empty unutilized. They
wanted the authority concern to explain how can this happened, and how much of
the tax payers money had been used to build this complex. We don’t want our
money being used like this, because every ringgit spent must be accounted for.
On the other hand the old
centre is just a piece of waste land with some broken building left standing,
and this is looking so ugly and unsightly. The people can see it clearly from
the main road side. The department should arrange to demolish and clear of all
the debris or to beautify the ground to make it presentable. There is no logic
to leave the old buildings standing like this.

ReplyDeletenanti kalau sudah sampai masanya bangunan itu mahu digunakan, barulah pagar itu dibuka dan rumput dipotong.. tidak juga sudah sampai masanya baru mahu bikin itu bangunan..
