SHU QI REJOINS TWITTER

It looks like Shu Qi has rediscovered the beauty of Weibo, the Chinese equivalent of Twitter. The actress famously deleted every post on her Weibo after she was publicly humiliated by a fan who started spreading her nude photos.

The drama began when she publicly defended her Legend of the Fist: The Return of Chen Zhen co-star Donnie Yen in his war of words with fellow action star Vincent Zhao Wenzhuo in March.

A disheartened Shu Qi then spent three hours deleting each post on her Weibo and had stayed away from the site ever since.

However, the 36-year-old has apparently moved on from the unpleasant episode, judging from how she has started posting on her account again recently.

The post, a greeting to environmental organisation Earth Angel - and the first in the past few months - drew more than 12,000,000 followers.

Unfortunately, that included some detractors who were not too happy to see the former soft porn actress back on the social networking site and threatened to start spreading her nude pictures again. The comment was, however, deleted later.

In fact, Shu Qi's latest post has been forwarded for over 40,000 times, with some celebrities welcoming her back to the site.
