LAHAD DATU : Kerajaan
Barisan Nasional (BN) pimpinan Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak
adalah pilihan terbaik bagi rakyat Sabah pada pilihan raya umum akan datang,
kata Pengerusi Badan Perhubungan MIC Negeri, Datuk V. Jothi.
Beliau berkata pelbagai
strategi telah dirangka oleh kerajaan bagi membantu rakyat tanpa mengira bangsa
dan agama menerusi program transformasi negara.
Sambil memberi contoh
belanjawan 2012, Jothi berkata belanjawan yang diumumkan oleh Najib itu
merupakan belanjawan membela rakyat dan mensejahterakan negara.
“Oleh itu, berilah sokongan
padu kepada kerajaan pusat di bawah pimpinan Najib dan Datuk Seri Musa Aman
(Ketua Menteri) di peringkat negeri,” katanya dalam satu kenyataan hari ini.

Datu untuk mengadakan perjumpaan bersama rakyat khususnya penyokong MIC berkata
antara transformasi yang dilaksanakan oleh kerajaan ialah bantuan persekolahan,
tabung khas bagi membantu pembaikan sekolah, program perumahan rakyat dan
progran transformasi luar bandar.
“Kerajaan BN adalah sebuah
kerajaan yang benar-benar dibentuk berasaskan aspirasi rakyat dan pilihan
rakyat pelbagai kaum di negara ini, dan kerajaan BN sepatutnya menjadi kerajaan
selamanya,” katanya.
