SABAH Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Musa Aman expressed his gratitude to the people for their role in the state's development efforts.

Speaking at the "Leaders with the People Program" at Pulau Nunuyan on his recent visit to the island, Musa attributed BN's success in Sabah to the people's  'political maturity and intelligence'.

He said that a good relationship between the leaders and the people is significant in forging Sabah's steady rise in development in the past decade.

"We must help one another. We help you, and you help us. At the end of the day, we'll all benefit," he said.

However, Musa admits that there is still plenty to be done in Sabah.

"I believe there is a lot more work to be done and we will continue with our development  work for Sabah," he added.

At the program, Musa confirmed the building of a community hall for the island and distributed school bags for all primary one and kindergarden pupils of Nunuyan. Also present were Gum-Gum Representative Datuk Zakaria Edris and Libaran Parliament Member Datuk Juslie Ajirol. (Insight Sabah)
