STAR 1ST ANNIVERSARY ON 06 JANUARY

“THE STAR Reform Party (STAR), Sabah will be celebrating its 1st Anniversary on 06 January 2013 at SM Kian Kok Hall, Jalan Tuaran, Kota Kinabalu, starting at 10.00 am.” announced Guandee Kohoi, Deputy Secretary General, cum Organizing Chairman of the Anniversary celebrations in a press statement released today.

STAR Sabah was officially launched on 06 January 2012 and since its launching it has worked tirelessly the past year throughout Sabah promoting the BORNEO AGENDA, which was first promoted by the United Borneo Front (UBF), and educating and raising the knowledge and awareness of Sabahans of the rights and special position of Sabah in Malaysia and the wayward treatment of Sabah and Sabahans by the powers that be, as well as advocating the restoration of Sabah’s rights and position as an equal partner.

The efforts of the STAR Sabah committee and “pejuang-pejuang hak” Sabah have borne result which has seen STAR Sabah growing from strength to strength making it one of the strongest parties in Sabah.

At the anniversary function, STAR Sabah Chairman, Datuk Dr. Jeffrey Kitingan, will be launching the ‘SELAMATKAN SABAH TANAH AIRKU’ Campaign.   Further details on the Campaign will be released at its launching.

In conjunction with the anniversary celebrations, STAR Sabah will also be hosting a Christmas and New Year Open House at the same venue at 12.00 noon which is open to all Malaysians.

Various political parties, NGOs and their leaders have been invited to join the anniversary celebrations which will be an opportune time for the various groups to gather and meet and foster greater cooperation amongst the opposition parties in preparation of the forthcoming 13th general elections.

We also take this opportunity to invite the media, public and supporters to attend STAR Sabah’s 1st anniversary and to attend the Christmas and New Year Open House gathering to welcome the 2013 New Year.
