STAR CALLS SABAHANS TO WAKE UP

STAR Sabah successfully celebrated its 1st Anniversary on 06 January 2013 at SM Kian Kok Hall, Jalan Tuaran, Kota Kinabalu, which also witnessed its Sabah Chairman, Datuk Dr. Jeffrey Kitingan launching the 'Selamatkan Sabah Tanah Airku' Campaign.

STAR calls on all Sabahans to wake up, stand united and to save Sabah from further loss and damage and to seek the correction of what is wrong and damage done to Sabah, seek the restoration of Sabah's lost rights, revenue, oil and gas ownership and autonomy and the renewal of Sabah to make it a progressive,  united and proud nation once again.

The Campaign will be implemented in the run-up to the 13th General Elections scheduled anytime soon and which will see 2013 as the Year for Correction, Restoration and Renewal amongst the calls for the changing of the present State and Federal governments.

The Campaign will be chaired by Datuk Jacob Chang Sadang, a Vice-President of STAR Sabah and STAR P.188 Silam Division Chief.

In his key-note address, Datuk Jacob advised that Sabah has been on the wrong end which has resulted in Sabah being the poorest State and its revenue and oil resources siphoned off and the situation cannot be allowed to continue for the sake of the future of Sabah and Sabahans and called on all Sabahans to work towards the downfall of the Umno/BN governments.
